Conditions of hire of meeting rooms
In booking a meeting room at Plas Dolerw, you will be accepting the following conditions:
- A cancellation fee is normally payable, should it be necessary to cancel your meeting. 25% of the room hire charge is levied if the booking is cancelled less than 28 days before the event. This rises to 50% if the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the meeting. If the booking is cancelled on the day, this charge increases to 100% and includes the cost of any food ordered.
- All invoices are sent out at the end of the month. Payment is to be made within 30 days.
- All equipment provided for your meeting by Plas Dolerw should be treated with care and left in the condition in which it is provided. If there is a problem with the equipment, this should be reported to MCRA staff.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your colleagues/delegates evacuate the building if the fire alarm is sounded, and that they are aware of the position of the fire exits and the assembly point on the drive.
- It is not permitted to bring in outside caterers. Orders for buffets can be placed through Plas Dolerw.
- If you provide your own food to be consumed at your meeting, an additional cleaning charge of £10 + VAT is levied by Plas Dolerw.
